Dialysis BioMed Technician

Renviva is looking for a part time Biomed for our dialysis unit in Upper Sandusky, OH

Dialysis experience is a must.

The BioMed Technician will maintain, repair, calibrate and update the pertinent logs of Hemodialysis Machines, Reverse Osmosis Systems, and Meters being used by the company while providing hemodialysis service.

The Bio Med Technician will utilize documentation, communication, technical skills, and collaboration with other team members to meet performance requirements in a cost-effective manner.

• Provide routine maintenance and repair of water systems in nursing home setting
• Follow AAMI standards for water safety
• Document repairs and maintenance according to policy
• Performs and documents testing and takes appropriate action
• Strictly observes infection control and safety procedures

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

- Moderately active work; walking and standing for considerable lengths of time.

- Talking and listening to communicate ideas or requirements to individual staff members.

Education/Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent;

- Completion of a college based technical dialysis program;

- Completion of the didactic training and education requirement for patient care technicians
